This past April I was asked if I would like to enter the ECOfestival photography contest, at first I thought no I do not have anything I would like to enter to fit the catogotary was Sky. Water. and Air. And then I got thinking I have a shot I took a few years ago at a good friends cottage we visit every summer, it is right on Lake Erie. That day few other friends showed up with there little boy and he started to fish of the dock. It was about 4 in the afternoon I was sitting with my camera behind him, and thats when I saw the shot. But rather than expose to get the over all scence I exposed for the highlights in the picture and this through my subject into a almost siloet.
It is not always what you see, you have to try and look and imagin what you can make different with what you see.
