It was a blustery, cold, but very sunny day for Monica and Sean’s winter wedding but they didn’t care about the cold, or did the guests everybody was there with smiles ready for a fun day and that it was.
This is the first time I have photograph at the Cambridge Mill in Cambridge since all the changes to it. The new Chapel that is built right on the Grand River edge is beautiful its almost built with all glass to see in every direction with the Grand river river flowing past.
This is where Monica and Sean had there ceremony. The sun was shinning in the chapel you would have never knowing it was -10c outside.
After the ceremony we had a short walk to the main building of the mill, were we brought all the family members together for the family pictures. Then we ventured outside with the wedding party to a snowy parked across the street and nobody seem to care about the cold they all were having to much fun.
Sean and Monica stuck it outside for a little more time but as always time seems to be the enemy on wedding days it goes so fast. So we had to come back in to start the reception.
The Olympics Games were on in Sochi and the big hockey game was the following day Sean and the groomsmen came up with the idea of wearing the Canada hockey shirts to enter the reception, that went over well with all the guests,
After dinner I suggest to Monica and Sean lets go up to the balcony on the third floor that looks over the Grand River and get a few Sunset shots. As you can see it was worth it.
It’s sometimes hard to to pull away the couple from there reception but for the 20 mins I think it is always worth it and I think the couples do to after they see there effort and the end result.
